This Week in Titanium Mobile Development: 31 Dec 2012

This is a roundup of all the Titanium Mobile development news I’ve gathered from the Twittersphere and Interwebs for the past week – New Years Eve Edition!

The London Titanium User Group are bringing Titanium Developers, Designers & Mobile enthusiasts from all over Europe/World together for a 2 day hackathon and ‘camp’ event.

Artanis Design shared a small snippet for a gmail app like modal window animation. He also posted a video demo on youtube. Cool effect.

Fokke Zandbergen posted his recommendations on preparing for the Titanium Certified Application Developer (TCAD) test. Lots of good links here.

Quinn Madson gave us a sample of using Twitter Bootstrap with Node.ACS on github.

Stavros Kounis shared an example of using OAuth2 with Google services from Titanium.

The Rock n Coder blogged about his Titanium First Look and Calculator App.

Modules and Widgets

Wikitude announced a Appcelerator Titanium Module to include augmented reality features into your App.

Miroslav Magda shared a iZettle module for Titanium. iZettle is a copy of Square for Europe.

Mads Møller’s Napp SearchBar extends the TiUISearchBar with new styling capabilities.

We mentioned it last week, but Appcelerator did a spotlight on Airport Chatter.
