Appcelerator opened part of it’s wiki to a community-editable wiki space. It currently contains a listing of Appcelerator developer blogs, tutorials, and tips and best practices. Go add yours today!

Appcelerator continues to rack up the acknowledgement after garnering recognition for Six New Industry Awards

Here are the top 3 places for the Box and Appcelerator challenge. These guys did some impressive work to win their prizes and now you can get to see what they did to get there.


Josh Jensen explains how he can’t start his day without Titanium API docs and the Alfred app to help him find what he needs in the documentation. You can see here how he does it for the next time you need info in a rush. Great idea.

SecureUDID is an open-source sandboxed UDID solution aimed at solving Apple deprecating UDIDs.

Patrick Seda shared a module to keep track of client-side Session timeouts in your mobile app.

It has been out for a while, but @rafaelks brought attention to the CoffeeScript plugin for Titanium Appcelerator to convert .coffee files into .js like magic.

A new Titanium module by @meeech allows you to access your plist values at runtime.

Ben Bahrenburg added Android support to his geo lookups in titanium using his basicGeo module.

CoderTap — This Handling WebView Events Natively in Titanium article helps highlight some key issues using WebViews.


Trashout is an app that helps you identify and notify others of any illegal trash and dumping sites in your area. A nice way to do your part for the environment.

Now you can follow the US presidential election using this Election Race App to get regular updates on everything that is happening.
